Staying in A Closet in Paris!

OK! Not the lap of luxury. When Richard and I got to our room at the Hotel de la Seine 3 years ago, we turned right around and left. At that point, he was willing to pay any price NOT to stay there - and we sure did!

This room makes the room at the Hotel de la Seine look like an Executive Suite. My initial reaction was - "I can't stay here!", but we were too exhausted to even think of leaving.

The bed was small and hard - the showers cold in the morning - the room had almost no heat. But we had a GREAT time. I learned to rough it a little. Man have I gotten spoiled! Richard - what have you done to me?????
